I have an nvidia video card and use two monitors. Also a new larger SSD drive for the C drive was installed. I just had a fresh upgrade from Windows 7 to 10. The latest download of Kontakt player, the latest version of Gig Performer. But no signs of Kontakt 7 full version in Native Access. I see Kontakt Factory Library 2 (not installed yet). I see Kontakt 6 Player, which is installed, and Kontakt 7 player, which also is installed. Unfortunately, I still have no luck getting Kontakt 7 installed. Jeremy_NI Thank you for looking into the matter ?. I now see cakewalk supports vst3 so it should see kontakt, do you have the latest kontakt version and do you have this folder under "program files\common files\vst3" or like that? There are all vst3 plugins installed Then you can add this folder in cakewalk settings, that it looks also there for vsts, better you copy all in one folder and just use one folder for vst64 bit, one for vst32 bit, the one for vst3 is normally set correctly and you should not change it. Maybe cakewalk does not see the kontakt.dll, first check if you can find the kontakt.dll, normally all vst.dlls are in one folder but in your case maybe not (you can check the install folder in native access settings). Can someone tell me how to add Kontakt 6 into my daw? This is a new build and both of them were in the daw in old build, but i must did something wrong in the reinstall, please tell what i did or miss a step,Jay Hey guys, I have stand alone Kontakt 6 and in my daw (Cakewalk) kontakt 6 player. When you install a new one, the standalone app requires setting up sound and MIDI, so they clearly have their own settings. Kontakt 6 and 7 should all be able to remain installed on the same system, along with one or more players. Not sure what player 7 would give me, but right now it's giving me a goose egg. Kontakt player 6 works great though, so I'll be sticking with that. I'm actually running PT Ultimate 2022.12. Sorry, my bad, I forgot that they put the date ahead of it now. Leaving this here in case anyone else finds themselves in a similar situ. Guess nobody tested player 7 with PT? Strange, but whatever. I only see it when I go out to the library.įixed it by basically not using Kontakt player 7 and using Kontakt player 6 instead. Should it? When I'm in the normal Kontakt player window, Vocalise doesn't show up along with the keyboard and other controls etc. When you click on the gear icon and go to libraries in settings, Vocalise doesn't show up as installed. It feels like it is "half-installed" from the standpoint of the behavior of the instrument in the library. Just don't understand the Kontakt player it's acting so flaky. Switch to a different track with u-he, all works fine as normal. However, when i arm a track in PT, I get no midi triggers to the instrument from my keyboard. After much prodding, I got the Vocalise instrument to show up in the library (kind of, it doesn't really act right) and I can audition sounds from the library through my PT hardware. I purchased Heavyocity's Vocalise 3 and went through the installation. Key differences between the PLAYER and the full version of KONTAKT include: The PLAYER focuses on the key performance and editing aspects of the sound engine, while KONTAKT gives full access to building and editing tools that are the foundation for all KONTAKT PLAYER instruments. KONTAKT PLAYER is a free sample player based on KONTAKT. I'm asking if it's possible to download the Kontakt 7 player by itself (without installing Native Access 2) and if it would work with Mojave as just a player. Monochrome I'm aware of this, per my question. Mac user M1 Laptop, Logic Pro I can install the (free) Kontakt player in a Logic Project, load an instrument, hear the sounds triggered through the little keyboard featured in the GUI but can not trigger sounds through Logic.
